48h challenge · case study
Gives an LLM live access to official Canadian open data through the MCP protocol.

Self-hosted server · case study
One Markdown vault shared by every AI assistant. A self-hosted MCP server in Go with OAuth 2.1 and passkey login, in daily use with Claude and Meta AI.

Client work
Speed work on two production sites, 4korners.org and cansulta.com, reaching PageSpeed 95+. On 4korners.org I added a page cache and an image CDN that serves WebP at display size, removed an unused plugin, and fixed a 5 MB logo. The homepage went from 14 MB to 3 MB, and pages now answer in 0.1 to 0.2 s instead of 1.3 to 2.8 s.

Browser extension
Chat with your browsing history, fully on-device. A local-first AI Chrome extension.

Developer tooling
Switch between multiple Claude Desktop accounts on Linux with isolated profiles.

Self-hosted web app
Generate digital business cards as scannable vCard QR codes, with an optional logo overlay.

Utility
Track student progress fully offline, running straight from a USB stick.
I am Jose, a full-stack developer in Montreal and a LaSalle College graduate. I learned the craft by building real things and shipping them to real users: I am the sole technical owner of the software at a non-profit, where I run a member portal in production, and I keep building small tools and experiments with AI and developer tooling. I care as much about the decision behind the code as the code that runs. I aim for quality and real results, and I work in French, English, and Spanish.

I am open to full-time roles and freelance projects. The fastest way to reach me is email.
